THE PRESIDENT'S ASSASSIN |
The AF-8 team was formed in the early 1980s to perform “surgical strikes”
against the enemies of the United States abroad. Reporting only to
the President of the United States, the team was comprised of elite
Special Forces Operators gifted at assassinations that either “sent
a clear message” or that no one would ever know were assassinations.
The individual team members changed over the years, but their
mandate remained the same: eliminate America’s enemies as directed
by the President. After 9-11, the team began receiving assignments to assassinate foreign
nationals on U.S. soil as part of the War on Terror. This was the
first time that the team operated domestically, but their mandate
remained the same. When Leonard Augustus Alexander is elected President, something changes.
The team begins receiving missions targeting U.S. Citizens from
Godric Ballard, the team’s liaison with the President. The team
members realize that they are no longer targeting America’s enemies;
they are targeting the President’s enemies: political rivals,
business and civic leaders, and others who stand in the way of the
President’s lust for power. When the team members refuse these assignments, they find themselves being
hunted down and killed. One by one, the members of the team are
wiped out, until only two remain: Aiden Valente and Wyatt Stark. With survival being the only mission, will any survive?
